Halliford WI was founded in 1922 and we are justifiably proud of our heritage.
With a current membership of 40 we can offer companionship, support and a wealth of experience and knowledge. We have our finger on the local pulse and were networking before we knew there was a word for it.
As a member you could benefit from our on-line National WI ‘Learning Hub’ with topics including talks, craft, keep fit, drawing and painting.
Our monthly meetings generally include a talk or demonstration, with diverse topics. You could join us for a weekly walk, coffee morning, or craft session. We also hold monthly lunches and ad hoc cinema trips. So as you can see, there is something for everyone and, of course, always tea and cake!
We usually have 4 outings during the year, perhaps to a stately home, garden, museum or theatre.
Come along to our social get-togethers, the monthly lunch, the weekly walks, plus a weekly afternoon meet- up at the local community centre. Weather permitting, some of our members hold garden parties during the summer months.
We are always looking for new ideas, so put your enthusiasm to good use. Come and join us to make new friends, learn new skills, visit new places and get involved. Become part of a local, Regional and National Organisation – inspiring women – join Halliford WI today
